The gangs rule in the waste of the ruined city, stealing and killing as they see fit – except in one place: the New Republic.

Tommy is from White Mesa, the God-centered settlement that foresaw the collapse and prepared for it. The New Republic has reached their notice, with its protective fence-line, uniformed police/guards, and generous food production.

But is it too good to be true?

Tommy’s espionage mission must find out. Is the New Republic a sister community in the heart of the gang-lands? Why are there so many ferals around it? Why do they have feral-bit inside, and not seem worried about it?

Tommy can deal with the gangs – but the New Republic’s secret might be more dangerous than even he can handle.
